An old photo of two Egyptian karate athletes holding a Palestinian flag on a podium after defeating an Israeli opponent at a tournament in Slovenia has recirculated in posts falsely claiming it was taken at the Paris Olympics. Karate made its Olympics debut at Tokyo 2020 but was not included at the Games in Paris.
